Carnegie Post Acute Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a dedicated and professional Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare unit. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional post-hospital and post-surgical care for seniors, alongside comprehensive rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, and bespoke health management. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, manage nursing staff, and maintain compliance with medical and facility regulations. Manage the day-to-day operations of the healthcare unit and ensure all staff adhere to established care standards. Develop and implement unit policies and procedures to maximize quality of care and efficiency. Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff, and provide constructive feedback and leadership. Coordinate with healthcare professionals and departments to ensure comprehensive patient care. Manage patient care plans and monitor outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet goals. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in healthcare management software Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards Empathy and patience in dealing with patients and their families Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid nursing license Certification in healthcare management (preferable)
