Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team!/n /n/nEndoscopy RN Job Details/n /n - Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 7, 2024 – January 6, 2025)/n - Healthcare Setting: Endoscopy Unit/n - Shift: Variable day/evening shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday), with varied scheduled days off/n - Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week/n - On-Call: Required (overnights Monday–Thursday, weekends, and holidays; call shifts rotated among team members)/n - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000–$2150 per week/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active New York RN License (NY RN license required)/n - Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy RN experience (endoscopy nursing jobs preferred)/n - Strong experience with Moderate Sedation and Monitored Anesthesia Care (emphasis on Moderate Sedation)/n - Proficiency in circulating, teching, and providing pre- and post-op care to patients with diverse acuities and comorbidities/n - Excellent IV skills, assessment skills, and critical thinking abilities/n - Compassionate, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment/n - Experience with EPIC and ERBE technologies preferred/n /n/nEndoscopy RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Endoscopy patients throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases/n - Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients under anesthesia care/n - Circulate and assist during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort/n - Demonstrate strong IV insertion and medication administration skills/n - Participate in on-call rotation, including overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed/n - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care/n - Accurately document care and procedures using EPIC electronic health records/n /n Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
