Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York nursing jobs) - Healthcare
Setting: NICU – Maternal Child Health Department - Assignment
Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025, End: 2/9/2026) - Shift:
12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week) - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
per week - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410 - $2580 - Employment
Type: Travel Nursing Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active NYS
Registered Nurse (RN) license - Minimum 1 year of RN experience;
NICU or post-partum unit experience preferred - Associates of
Applied Science in Nursing or higher - BLS certification required
upon hire; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6
months - Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods and
perform light lifting for patient care NICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to NICU and Maternal Child Health
patients - Collaborate with unit leadership and adhere to nursing
guidelines (AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN) - Conduct patient assessment,
data collection, care planning, implementation, and evaluation -
Float to post-partum unit as needed to support clinical operations
- Safely operate medical equipment for neonatal and maternal care
