Registered Nurse (RN) | Behavioral Health Location: New York Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $3,300 to $3,500 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job description: Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Manager specializing in Behavioral Health to lead and oversee nursing operations within our behavioral health services. This pivotal role involves managing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and delivering exceptional patient care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in behavioral health nursing, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and be committed to fostering a safe, therapeutic environment for patients across diverse age groups and diagnoses. Key responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient assessments and treatment plans, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager will also oversee documentation accuracy within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner, facilitate staff training, and promote best practices in patient safety and quality care. Shift: 8 hours; Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 Job Type: Contract/Full Time Permanent Requirements Required Skills & Experience: -Minimum five (5) years as Registered Nurse. -Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatry. -Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Licensed and currently registered as a Professional Nurse in New York State. -Basic Life Support. -ACLS. -Crisis Management (PMCS, TRUST).
