Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are looking for talented nurses to join MSK's Emergency Center! The Emergency Center provides emergent and comprehensive patient-centered care to MSKCC'S patients, families, and staff 24 hours, 7 days a week. Patients are triaged/evaluated, and a decision is made to admit, discharge, or place a patient in observation status in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU). Role Overview: - Implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing interventions in our Urgent Care Center. - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care. - Provide outstanding patient-centered care to our patients and unregistered patients. - Deliver care to employees who are injured on the premises. Key Qualifications:" - NYS RN license and BSN - A minimum of 1.5-2 years of clinical medical/surgical experience required. - Critical care/ Emergency Department and/or medical oncology experience highly preferred - May consider New Graduate RNs with a preceptorship or externship in a critical care area.
