Johnson City, New York, 13790! Job Title: Registered Nurse -
Cardiac Telemetry Profession: Nurse Specialty: Staff Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum six
months to three years of nursing experience License: Current NYS RN
License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in a
cardiac telemetry department - Knowledge of medications and cardiac
drips - Familiarity with procedures and patient management related
to cardiac care Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects,
promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. The RN focuses on the
prevention of illness and injury and the alleviation of suffering.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, delegating,
coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. The RN
serves as a primary nurse and is accountable when designated by
unit assignment. Educates patients and families in health promotion
and disease management. Utilizes a working knowledge of
pharmacology to safely administer medications. Shares
responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization.
Complies with all nursing practice standards and regulatory
requirements. Actively participates in and supports professional
governance initiatives. Engages in professional development and
continuing nursing education. Integrates nursing research and
current evidence into practice. Provides a supportive learning
