Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: New York, NY Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,350 to $2,500 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job details: Position: RN – Med/Surg Location: New York City, NY Shift: Days – 3x11.5s (34.5hrs per week) Duration: 13 weeks Job Duties Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Provide direct bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients Administer and document medications Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter insertion, and dressing changes Monitor patient vitals and report adverse reactions Operate and adjust medical equipment, recording patient data Collaborate on discharge planning Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery care Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts Follow established nursing standards and protocols Requirements Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a large acute care or post-acute setting Recent experience within the past year required Strong skills in: Physical assessment Medication administration Wound care & infection control IV therapy Post-operative care Telemetry monitoring Patient education Preferred: Experience with EPIC EMR system Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required) Certifications & Licensure: Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified) AHA BLS Certification AHA ACLS Certification (required for Queens facilities)
