We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Production Supervisor for our 2nd Shift operations in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, and ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality. This is a key role in maintaining the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, and we are looking for someone with a strong background in SQF, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and food production. The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is a must for this position.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Production Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team.
  • Ensuring that all products are produced on time and meet quality standards.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Training, developing, and managing production team members.
  • Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensuring compliance with SQF and HACCP standards.
  • Identifying and resolving production problems to minimize impact on production.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with other departments and management.
  • Preparing and presenting production reports to senior management.Qualifications:To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have the following qualifications:
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven knowledge and experience with SQF, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and food production.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
