Hackensack, NJ – 2–3 days a week in-office, with shuttle support
for NYC-based employees Reports to: General Manager and President
of North America Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 Salary About the
Role This role is a Chief of Staff opportunity vs PMO. As part of
our North America Leadership team, you will be exposed to the
strategic challenges of the largest plant-based company in the
world. We will ask you to take ownership and tracking of these
Projects by identifying the issues, constructing solutions, and
presenting them to the senior levels of our organization. We expect
you to feel comfortable with data-driven business cases and
intellectual creativity that lead to a sustainable footprint of our
company! This role will be a catalyst for change, build critical
demand creation capabilities, and drive the company's strategic
initiatives across organizational Must Win Battles that are closely
aligned to the Global Manifesto. It requires a blend of strategic
thinking, operational efficiency, excellent communication skills,
and the ability to manage diverse teams and projects. What You'll
Do Strategic Planning and Analysis: Assisting in formulating the
company's strategic direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
This involves market research, analyzing business performance, and
helping set long-term goals through our operating master plan and
must-win battle process. Project Management: Overseeing key
projects and initiatives (e.g., Leading Supply Chain / Operations
SteerCo). Ensuring that projects align with the company's goals and
are completed on time and within budget. Communication and Liaison:
Acting as a point of contact between top management and employees
or other stakeholders. This includes communicating strategic
decisions and plans, and ensuring smooth information flow. Also
supporting external stakeholders' events (e.g, industry events and
panels) Operational Support: Streamlining operational processes and
ensuring efficiency. This could involve working end-to-end across
all functions of the business. Leadership and Team Development:
Providing leadership and direction to teams. This may include
mentoring staff, overseeing team dynamics, and encouraging
professional development. Financial Oversight: Assisting with
budgeting and financial planning. Involves a monthly President
letter summary, which includes cost-benefit analysis, forecasting,
and financial reporting. Market Research and Analysis: Keeping
up-to-date with market trends in the food and beverage industry,
understanding consumer preferences, and advising on product
development or improvement. Compliance and Quality Control:
Ensuring that all company operations comply with industry standards
and regulations, particularly concerning food safety and quality.
Crisis Management: Handling unexpected issues and crises, such as
supply chain disruptions or public relations challenges. Executive
Support: Directly supporting the General Manager, President, or
other executives with daily administrative tasks, decision-making
processes, and schedule management. About You Degree in Business
Management, Economics. MBA a plus. Must have similar working
experience Proven people/project leadership throughout your
academic career (on- or off- campus) Demonstrated ability to work
in a results-oriented, challenging environment Strong analytical
and problem-solving skills Effective presentation skills Ability to
