*Nursing Assistant Job Description**Overview*We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including clinics, senior care facilities, and hospitals. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.*Responsibilities** Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.* Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.* Provide basic life support when necessary and respond promptly to patient needs.* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques.* Support geriatric patients with mobility and rehabilitation exercises.* Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.* Assist in hospice care by providing emotional support and comfort to terminally ill patients and their families.* Educate patients and their families on health management practices as needed.* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.*Requirements** Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is required.* Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is preferred.* Experience in geriatrics or senior care settings is highly desirable.* Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within teaching hospitals or clinics.* Experience working with children is beneficial for those assisting pediatric patients.* Strong communication skills and the ability to provide empathetic patient care are essential.* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Travel nursingPay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekPhysical Setting:* Nursing homeLicense/Certification:* CNA (Hardcopy) (Required)* BLS (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
