What you'll do: Maintains, adapts and updates existingsystems to meet user requirements and to enhance program efficiency.Researches and documents user requirements and system specifications. Designs and develops program logic addressingspecific programming needs. Translates business requirements and functionalspecifications into detailed system and program design specifications.Assumes responsibility for program design activities including definition ofdata and error message arrangements. Modifies and documents new and existingprogram code to correct errors or to enhance a program's capabilities.Creates/troubleshoots program code for the existing applications using KEPROselected software development tools. Prepareslifecycle documentation for newly created and existing software programsincluding changes that reflect new user requirements and errorcorrections/bugs discovered after testing phase.Prepares reports on the status, operation,and maintenance of system software for use by computer equipment suppliers,systems designers, other programmers and computer operators. Tests programs, new and existing, to insurethey perform as expected. Helps develop, document, and implement systemdesigns, codes, and testing standards. Analyzes proposed changes at a systemlevel and recommend designs and solutions that minimize impact to interfacingsystems while maximizing code re-usability and maintaining business value. Works incoordination with other software engineers on larger projects. Other dutiesas assigned The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other education- and experience-related duties that management may deem necessary from time to time.What you'll need:Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related area desired or equivalent experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge and demonstrable experience in the following technologies and methodologies: .NET Framework through .NET 6 Core using C#.NET and VB.NET HTTP, ASP.NET, MVC.NET, HTML5, CSS, jQuery ASP.NET Web API, JWT, OAuth2, JSON, REST, SOAP, gRPC Entity Framework 6 through EF Core, T-SQL. MSTest PL/SQL, MySQL, Python, and PHP experience appreciated but not required Experience using most recent versions of Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, TFS (on premise), Azure DevOps Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design that includes implementation solutions for the healthcare industry Knowledge of systems development lifecycle and/or operational maintenance environment. Excellent oral and written technical, business and user communication skills Team player with strong interpersonal skills, is detail oriented, and capable of working cross functionally within the organization Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Excellent problem solving skills, particularly with regard to anticipating and solving problems, issues, or concerns before they occur or become critical Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, operation, and maintenance instructions Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Knowledge of test-driven development with Visual Studio Ability to create coded unit tests Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form including the aptitude to take non-technical requirements and convert them into technical requirements ExperienceMinimum 3-4 years' progressive software development experience.Professional certifications such as MCTS, MCPD, MCAD, MCSD, Java, J2EE or Oracle are welcomeThank You!We know your time is valuable and we thank you in advance for applying for this position.
