Job Description Job Description *This position is for 2nd Shift
Weekdays (Mon-Thur). The selected candidate will be entitled to a
10% shift differential. BAE Systems is seeking candidates with
electronic assembly experience with a focus on circuit card
assembly. Successful candidates for this position must be proven
strong communicators (both written and verbal), and willing to step
out of their comfort zone. As the SMT Lead, you will assist the
manager/supervisor in developing strategies to meet requirements
while managing targets associated with safety, quality, delivery,
and cost. You will be working closely with the manufacturing team
on a daily basis. Primary tasks will be to communicate goals,
priorities, and overtime needs to the team, as well as answer
moderate technical questions, system related questions, and assist
with general manufacturing quality questions as they relate to the
task at hand. Assemble electronic components, assemblies,
subassemblies, according to specific written instructions,
diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets. Use appropriate
tooling and machinery as provided. Verify and inspect products to
ensure conformance with requirements and perform rework as needed.
Act as an area mentor and support area cross-training efforts,
participate in and support continuous improvement activities,
perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Required
Education, Experience, & Skills /n - High School diploma or GED /n
- 3 Years of assembly experience in manufacturing environment. /n -
Written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role.
/n - Ability to mentor and lead assembly team. /n /n Preferred
Education, Experience, & Skills /n - 3 years of experience of
assembly experience in circuit card manufacturing, understand how
to identify electronic components and properly orient them into a
circuit board according to polarity, follow written instructions,
interpret assembly drawings, work independently, and use clear
written or oral communication to share information with team
members, support staff, and management. /n - Europlacer experience.
/n - SMT Experience. /n - SMT Setup experience. /n - Candidate must
have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
and be able to use a computer to communicate with the team. /n -
Working knowledge of ORACLE and Factory Logix (FLX) /n - Able to
interpret and understand the instructions on process sheets, prints
or route cards. They should have experience with assembly, working
in a circuit card manufacturing environment. /n /n Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $44033 - $70454 Please note: This range is
based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries
are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited
to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
