Job Description Our client is a leading enterprise organization focused on building modern, scalable technology platforms that support mission-critical business operations. The engineering team is focused on developing high-performance applications using modern full-stack technologies and cloud-enabled architecture. The organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Java/Spring Boot) to contribute to the design and development of enterprise systems used across the business. Salary/Hourly Rate: $65/hr - $75/hr Depending on experience Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Java/Spring Boot) to join a growing technology team in a contract-to-hire capacity. The Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Java/Spring Boot) will be responsible for building and enhancing modern full-stack applications using Angular on the front end and Java 21 with Spring Boot on the backend. This role will involve designing scalable services, integrating APIs, and working with modern data platforms to support enterprise applications. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong experience developing distributed systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering reliable production-ready software. Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Java/Spring Boot): - Design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack applications. - Build and enhance responsive front-end applications using Angular. - Develop backend services and microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot. - Design and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and external system integrations. - Work with enterprise data platforms, including MongoDB, Snowflake, Oracle, and Camunda. - Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions. - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. - Support application deployment, stability, and ongoing improvements. Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Java/Spring Boot): - 5 - 8 years of professional software engineering experience. - Proven experience working as a Software Engineer (Angular/Java/Spring Boot) or similar full-stack development role. - Strong front-end development experience with Angular. - Backend development experience using Java 21. - Experience developing applications using Spring Boot. - Experience working with enterprise databases such as MongoDB, Snowflake, Oracle, or Camunda. - Strong understanding of modern application architecture and software development best practices. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Java/Spring Boot): - Experience designing and building RESTful APIs. - Messaging platform experience, particularly Kafka or IBM MQ. - Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services. - Experience supporting high-volume or enterprise-scale applications. Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) is required.
