best talent for a Principal Automation Scientist , located in
Spring House, PA. This is an onsite role. Purpose: Are you an
outstanding scientist with experience in automation and ambition to
build the lab of the future for drug discovery? Do you aspire to
apply your expertise to ambitious goals like crafting
biotherapeutics that target challenging diseases? We are looking
for a highly motivated scientist to join our team, which is
committed to changing the future of medicine. As a member of the
Biologics Discovery team, you will apply the latest automation
technologies to identify and screen novel lead molecules aimed at
addressing unmet medical needs. You will be responsible for: Design
and build next generation automation platforms to implement the
"lab of future" for Biologics. Develop and validate cutting-edge
automated protocols for automated mammalian transient and stable
protein production. Build and implement the roadmap for
next-generation Biologics screening processes Conduct hands-on
research and experimentation, applying your expertise in automation
to drive breakthroughs in our scientific endeavors. Stay ahead in
the field of rapidly changing automation technologies. Prepare and
present detailed technical reports, data summaries, and
presentations to share research findings, insights, and
recommendations with internal collaborators. Qualifications /
Requirements: Education B.Sc. with 6 years of post-graduation
experience in Robotics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics or
related field is required. Required: Excel at operating
high-throughput automation platforms is required. Experience with
implementing new robotic systems is required. The ability to work
independently and meet discovery timelines is required. A minimum
of 3 or more years of automation experience is required. Ability to
take an integral role in project and functional teams to drive
project advancement. Preferred: Experience in using robotic
workcells and scheduling software, including HighRes (Cellario),
Biosero (GBG), and TECAN (FluentControl). Hands-on experience with
programming liquid handlers such as TECAN, LYNX, and Hamilton
platforms. Excel at developing and improving high-throughput
robotic platforms for production and screening of biological
samples. Proven expertise in implementing automated systems
including the use of automated liquid handling systems,
high-throughput screening platforms, and robotics is preferred.
Demonstrated examples of implementing robotic workcells in a new
setting is preferred. Experience with mammalian expression
platforms and cell culture is strongly preferred. Candidate must
have interpersonal skills to collaborate within a diverse team is
