Lead and expand the AI Factory team within the AI Foundations
directorate, driving innovation and growth - Collaborate with a
team of experts, including data engineers, AI/ML developers, full
stack developers, MLOps teams, and product managers to develop and
implement AI-enabled systems - Provide technical expertise in
infrastructure architecture and artificial intelligence to drive

- Proven experience leading high-performing teams and driving
innovation in the field of artificial intelligence - Technical
expertise in infrastructure architecture and artificial
intelligence, with a deep understanding of the latest developments
and trends - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with

time telecommuting with travel as required. Candidate must be a US
citizen LMLAIC Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, or related field: A degree in a relevant
field is required, with a focus on computer science, engineering,
or a related discipline. - 10 years of experience in systems
architecture or infrastructure engineering: Proven experience in
designing, developing, and deploying platforms and infrastructure
to enable AI and machine learning, with a strong understanding of
AI engineering principles and practices. - 5 years of technical
leadership experience: Demonstrated technical leadership experience
in directing high-performing projects, with a focus on hardware
engineering, infrastructure architecture, high performance
computing, or a related field. - Strong understanding of AI
platforms and architectures: Experience with Kubernetes, AI
platforms, architectures, and frameworks, including cloud-based
solutions, on-premises hardware, and containerization. - Excellent
communication and collaboration skills: Ability to effectively
communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork. -
Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of server hardening
(STIGs) and secure off-network deployments. - Advanced Automation:
Expertise in Ansible and scripting for infrastructure-as-code and
automation. Desired skills - Experience in AI Infrastructure
Architecture and familiarity with Lockheed Martin's AI initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of AI enabling Infrastructure (e.g., GPU
Hardware, Data Center Design, High Speed Storage and Networking) -
Experience with infrastructure automation frameworks (e.g.,
Ansible, Kubernetes Operators, Helm) - Knowledge of data
engineering principles and practices, including data pipelines and
data warehousing - Experience with agile development methodologies
and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab) - Strong
understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,
Google Cloud) - Experience with isolated, disconnected, and
classified environments for the design and delivery of
infrastructure and platforms - Experience with large language
models, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI
applications - Strong business acumen and understanding of the
aerospace and defense industry - Experience with budgeting,
forecasting, and resource allocation - Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines -
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex
problems and develop creative solutions - Classified Environments
Experience managing large-scale infrastructure across multiple

Ability to work remotely Full-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work remotely full time at a
location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site.
Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic
meetings. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a
variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$150,800 - $265,880. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented
full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid

to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for

incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $173,400 - $300,495. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
