Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly
organized and detail-oriented professional to join our dealership
as a Body Shop Supervisor & Vehicle Logistics Coordinator . This
role combines hands-on leadership of our body shop operations with
oversight of all logistics related to receiving vehicles, ensuring
smooth workflow from arrival to delivery, and maintaining the
highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Body Shop Supervision Oversee day-to-day operations of the body
shop, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring
progress. Manage a team of auto body technicians, painters, and
detailers to ensure repairs and refurbishments meet quality
standards and deadlines. Conduct quality control inspections to
verify workmanship meets manufacturer and dealership requirements.
Implement safety protocols and compliance with all environmental
and occupational regulations. Maintain inventory of tools, parts,
and materials required for repairs and refinishing. Vehicle
Logistics Coordinate and track the receipt of incoming vehicles
from manufacturers, auctions, and trade-ins. Schedule inspections
upon arrival to document condition, damage, and necessary work
orders. Liaise with transport companies to arrange timely
deliveries and resolve logistical issues. Maintain accurate records
of vehicle movement, status, and readiness for sale. Ensure smooth
integration of vehicle intake into the body shop workflow for
prompt preparation. Qualifications: Proven experience in automotive
body shop operations with leadership responsibilities. Strong
understanding of vehicle repair processes, paint and refinishing
techniques, and safety standards. Experience in logistics
coordination, preferably within the automotive industry.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving
skills. Proficient in using dealership management systems and
inventory tracking software. Work Environment: This position is
based at our Body Shop facility and requires regular interaction
with technicians, logistics staff, and management.
