Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY : The Depot
Supervisor will coordinate and manage all activities within the
assigned depot. In addition to providing leadership to the depot
employees, the Supervisor will udse utilize the principles of Lean
Manufacturing/5S to organize the workplace, reveal problems, and
sustain improvements in quality, productivity, safety, and cost.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES: Ensure all KPI’s and other
metrics are reported accurately. Job-specific – damage rate,
components per repair, and repair index Direct and supervise depot
operations,s ensuring the safety of employees and that the facility
meets the required KPIs Work with Team Leaders to develop the
following: Overall adherence to SOPs and other PECO and Depot
Policies & Procedures. Applied 6S Methodology (5S Safety).
Adherence to critical quality procedures.
Understanding/implementation of the visual workplace. Meeting and
attaining daily/weekly/monthly production goals. Team Leaders and
Associates leadership and other skills are critical to operational
success. Spearhead elimination of defects by working with repair
operators, Autosort operator and others to put permanent corrective
actions in place. Improve plant floor performance and morale by
hands-on involvement in training procedures with operators and
other floor personnel. Assist in the development and communication
of performance objectives and acceptable standards of performance
for depot personnel. Provide consistent feedback to maintain
performance standards. Optimal utilization of the floor workforce.
Reduce headcount while making jobs easier for employees by applying
Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintain a safe facility and adhere
to safety protocols. Oversee the plant’s safety program by
monitoring for compliance with federal, state, and plant-required
safety rules and regulations. Oversee and ensure that all required
training is being conducted and in a timely fashion, and recorded
in keeping with OSHA and other regulatory agencies, as well as PECO
policy, this includes Safety training. Conduct regular floor audits
to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment. As Depot
Supervisor, drive and champion employee morale as a key performance
metric to minimize employee turnover and absenteeism. Perform other
duties as needed and assigned. Process Training / Auditing New Hire
Training Captain for dispersal of Quality Materials (Posters /
Videos / Tool Gauges / Spider Brushes) May Also Include:
Complete/Delegate all preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Identify/Delegate repairs to any improperly functioning equipment.
In the event of an emergency, quickly respond and notify
appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol. Complete/Delegate
all maintenance tasks and PMs to the maintenance technician and
paint technician through Megamation, and document the steps taken
and completion. Ensure the Vision-X, CDLR, and paint lines are
continuously working properly and that all components are
maintained and in good working condition to hit production targets.
Manage and improve Autosort operations, identifying and correcting
problems that may prevent the depot from achieving metrics.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Must have strong analytical skills and business

and tactical. Data, process, and results-driven. Microsoft Office
Suites and Excel Skills Preferred Strong communication skills. High
energy and enthusiasm…must possess a passion for winning.
Bilingual-Spanish Preferred EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited
high school or General Education Development (GED) Bachelor’s
Degree preferred Certification in relevant areas, e.g. Lean
Manufacturing, OSHA, Safety etc. are preferred Work Conditions:
Ability to work Wednesday - Saturday Manufacturing environment Work
is performed in an indoor fast paced production environment.
Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift 65lbs pallets
repeatedly Ability to work overtime as needed. PECO Pallet Inc. is
