Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in
food production, is seeking a Machine Operator/Packager - 1st Shift
to join their team. As a Machine Operator/Packager - 1st Shift, you
will be part of the production department supporting the packaging
team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention
to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align
successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine
Operator/Packager - 1st Shift Location: Norwich, NY Pay Range: $21
Shift: 7:15am - 7:45pm, Rotating Days What's the Job? Safely set-up
and operate packaging equipment to ensure optimal machine
performance and product output. Apply technical knowledge to
troubleshoot and resolve routine equipment malfunctions. Monitor
production processes to identify defects or issues that could
impact product quality. Maintain accurate records and documentation
related to production activities. Follow safety protocols,
including wearing personal protective equipment and adhering to all
safety policies. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED
equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a
similar role. Strong technical skills and familiarity with
machinery and equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work
in various environmental conditions. Excellent problem-solving
skills, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation. What's in it
