OverviewOur Scranton, PA production facility which produces the iconic Ring Pop candy is looking for Full Time Material Coordinator.The Material Coordinator is responsible for supporting operations by performing general administrative duties for the Scranton, PA office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of work while balancing multiple priorities. General support for daily manufacturing operations, quality and production.ResponsibilitiesGeneral support for daily manufacturing operations - create and maintain reports, e.g. weekly payroll reconciliation, vacation scheduling, sick time tracking and production tracking reports.Manage the Purchase Requisition and tracking processSupport staff, quality and production presentations and plant audit responsesCoordinate Union business communications and grievance responsesCoordinate Union job bid, recall and layoff processes, report shift and job changes to HR and track payroll discrepancies by positionInitiate and track Capital Expenditure Requests to completionComplete expense reporting for production staffCommunicate with production employees by telephone and mail to maintain staffing of shifts and jobsSupport the Material Control SupervisorOrder releases in Oracle for ingredient and packaging componentsPerform work order completions in Oracle for all Techna Plastics and Scranton work ordersPerform Inter-Organization transfers in Oracle for Techna Plastics and Millennium PackagingPerform additional administrative duties as requiredProven ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects and effectively determine prioritiesStrong computer skills - advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills essentialAbility to communicate effectively and confidently with internal management and staff, customers and brokers - written and oralDemonstrated ability to proactively find solutions to complex or unexpected problems or issuesAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to deal with a high volume of work and conflicting demandsQualificationsBusiness experience in administrative roleEducation Required: 1 yr.Industry: ManufacturingYears: 1
