We place candidates in temporary, contract and long-term assignments working for Government Entities (State, City, County, Metro, etc.)We are working towards a future in which every person with disability can live a productive life in the community of their choice - where each person can contribute and all of us are enriched by the experience.Hourly wage for this position is $12.00 an hour.Schedule will be rotating with every other weekend off.Excellent Attendance is Required!The purpose of this position is to perform an array of healthcare janitorial duties to enhance the environment by maintaining assigned area. You shall accomplish this by following healthcare cleaning and trash handling protocols in a professional manner while meeting service standards.CRITICAL TASKS:* Outstanding attendance* Reliable transportation* Floorcare experience is a MUST* General environmental cleaning and upkeep of health care facility* Cleaning of patient or discharged rooms* Waiting rooms, nursing stations, and public restrooms.* Handling various waste streams according to procedures.* Collecting trash and mopping floors.* Works with approved chemicals and cleaners and power equipment properly.* Performs supplemental cleaning duties as neededWorking Conditions/Physical Demands Requires:* Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 50 lbs., carry and push carts from 100 lbs. to 500 lbs. when performing duties. Works under a variety of temperature conditions.* May involve transporting items outside of buildings in all weather conditions.* Possesses the ability to stand for long periods as well as to walk long distances to perform cleaning and disinfecting tasks of both high and low items/areas.REQUIREMENTS:* Previous experience with Floorcare a must* Previous experience in environmental services/Janitor.
