Job Description:
BICP, a market leader in BI&A and Cloud Transformation, is
looking to hire two (2) Sr. Data Modelers to support a multi-year
enterprise modernization effort at our longstanding Fortune 500
Consumer Products client in Long Island City, NY. We currently have
a team on-site supporting multiple groups with their drive to
deploy NextGen platforms and applications capable of powering real
time analytics. The Data Modeler will be part of a new squad
focused primarily on delivering new functionality associated with
Retail data primarily in the area of Supply Chain. Ideal consultant
will have at least 5 years Data Modeling, extensive knowledge of
ERWIN (latest release preferred) and, in general, be familiar with
a variety of techniques to consume and process large data
volumes/datasets.
Ideal candidate will have experience with name based architecture,
domain definitions and deep data warehouse expertise (Teradata, SQL
Server, DB2 etc). The mapping effort will involve numerous data
sources touching a variety of data including Finance, Supply Chain,
Procurement and HR. Ideal consultant will have prior experience
supporting cloud based, analytics driven transformation efforts
from legacy to NextGen platforms (Azure). The key areas of
