Avex is seeking an Account Executive with extensive eCommerce and/or agency experience. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.

  • Creating detailed proposals and pitching new business.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships
    You will be responsible for the expansion of our client base by fielding incoming leads, finding new business opportunities and managing customer relationships. You will work with our Sales Team, Solutions Architects, Director of Client Services and Director of Operations to create pitches, answer RFPs, attract new business and achieve sales goals.
    The ideal candidate will be experienced in eCommerce, SaaS, sales and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

    What you'll be doing
    • Collaborate other team members on larger accounts and pitches
    • Identify ways to create new business pipelines
    • Cultivate relationships with potential new business
    • Develop strong lead pipeline and build relationships
    • Utilize Linkedin and lead generation tools to prospect leads
    • Present proposals and pricing options to warm leads
    • Qualify inbound leads via email and phone
    • Generate new business leads for Avex's services
    • Strategize with marketing team to brainstorm ideas for lead generation
    • Support RFP responses by writing proposals
    • Work with project managers and strategists to scope e-commerce projects
    • Pitch and secure orders from existing and prospective customers
    • Work with current clients to increase customer lifetime value
    • Monitor and follow up on opportunities
    • Maintain Hubspot CRM

      • Have excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
      • Have a high-level understanding of e-commerce platforms and solutions
      • Experience with SaaS, marketing or e-commerce sales
      • Problem solver and creative thinker
      • Experience with requirements gathering, proposals and pitching new business
      • Inbound and outbound sales experience
      • Experience with Hubspot CRM or similar
      • Agency experience (huge plus)
      • Shopify / Magento / BigCommerce / Wordpress experience (huge plus)
        • 2+ years of experience working in sales for technology
