Air is a Creative Ops System for Marketers. Our product automates the mindless tasks that marketers do every day to manage content and unlocks creativity for marketers through image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. We launched in March 2020 and have raised +$18M from world-class venture capital groups including Tiger Global, Lerer Hippeau, WndrCo, and Slack Ventures.

The Role

Air is looking for a fast-paced, customer-oriented storyteller to join our growing marketing team as Product Marketer. In this new role reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for launching new features and positioning the product in a way that excites and motivates our ideal customer profile to choose and use Air. Your deep customer and market knowledge will help you distill insights that inform the product roadmap and drive compelling and differentiated positioning and messaging that cuts through the clutter. This is a highly collaborative role that will define and lead our cross-functional launch process, working closely with product, sales, customer success/support and the rest of the marketing team. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you'll have the opportunity to drive and influence the growth of our business in many ways!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop and drive execution of cross-functional go-to-market plans that maximize awareness and adoption of the product and new features.
  • Craft differentiated world-class positioning and messaging for Air products and features, ensuring alignment with overall brand voice and positioning.
  • Drive meaningful insights into the business and product strategy based on market trends, customer research, and competitive analysis.
  • As a highly-organized and skilled communicator, be the glue that helps connect the dots between the product and go-to-market teams (marketing, sales, customer) to ensure everyone knows what's launching, when and how it impacts them.
  • Enable the sales team with compelling internal and external content (demos, decks, prospect outreach) that demonstrates the power and uniqueness of our product.
  • Be ready to throw on other hats to help take advantage of new opportunities that arise - we are a small but growing team that works collaboratively to make sure all good ideas can see the light of day.

    Requirements

    This could be a good fit if you:
    • Have at least 3+ years of hands-on product marketing experience, ideally in a fast-growing B2B SaaS organization - bonus points for experience marketing to marketers, brand leaders and creative communicators.
    • Are a wizard with words and your written and verbal communication skills help you deliver stories that move hearts, minds and wallets.
    • Get excited by the challenge of building a new product category that solves everyday pain for marketers, founders and creatives in brand-forward companies.
    • Enjoy a highly-flexible, can-do mindset and can easily shift direction as new opportunities arise.
    • Can think strategically, execute tactically and work collaboratively to get buy-in across multiple groups.
    • Possess a balance of right and left brain prowess, and can marry metrics and insights to drive your decision-making and strategies.
    • Are excited to wake up each day to see the results of your work from yesterday.
    • Would be bored in an environment that was anything but blazing fast.
    • Are not afraid to think outside of the box to move the needle.
    • A positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a desire to build accessible products for all users
