About the position:As a Raymond Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be supporting The Raymond Corporations business operations domestically and internationally by developing and executing the companys import/export processes in areas, such as, classification, valuation, country of origin, and customs broker/3rd party management. Additionally, you will provide international trade compliance support for trade preference program qualifications, admission eligibility, and analysis of various trade issues. The Trade Compliance Specialist will also work cross-functionally with Raymond team members in Procurement, Transportation, and Accounting, as well as, Suppliers around the globe to ensure compliance with U.S. and international import/export regulatory requirements.

Support global import/export trade compliance activities for Raymond Analyze, research, & assign the appropriate HTS, ECCN & Country of Origin Maintain & update detailed product master information in the product libraryCreate, process, & ensure the accuracy of all import/export documentationIdentify & administer duty mitigation opportunitiesWork with Procurement to identify all inbound international shipmentsInterface with customs brokers, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other governmental agencies to ensure complianceMaintain required records in accordance with regulatory & internal requirementsReview & audit USMCA Certificates & communicate findings to all parties for compliance Prepare, research, and distribute monthly KPI metric reportingAssist in development & maintenance of procedures & manuals for compliance with import/export laws, regulations, & administrative practicesCreate and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) with Raymond brokers Support and train internal customers on import/export requirementsAbout you:
Bachelor's Degree (Business, Supply Chain, or Intl. Studies); PreferredTwo or more years of related experience Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs laws and regulationsStrong knowledge of HTS/Schedule B classification, customs valuation, & country of originKnowledgeable with Free Trade Agreements and warranty returnsCustoms Certified Specialist (preferred)Licensed Customs Broker (or desire to obtain a license)It would be great if you had:
Strong interpersonal & communication abilities with good written & verbal skillsStrong problem solving & analytical skills with a high attention to detailProven ability to interface with cross-functional teams at all levels within the organizationProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams a plus) Ability to be a self-starter, prioritize multiple competing tasks; flexible, adaptable, and collaborative and follows through.About the total compensation package: Salary - The salary for this position is $57000 73000/year Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
