Future Vertical Lift - Lockheed Martin Sikorsky
A little about us---Sikorsky's Raider X airframe is the next
generation of light attack-reconnaissance warfare. Being developed
for the US Army's Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA)
competitive bidding process, the Raider X is poised to take Army
aviation through 2050 and beyond! We are looking for a highly
motivated and talented individual with a background in cross domain
avionics solutions to define and develop the cross domain solution
for the FARA mission system throughout the competition and
beyond!
This position is for a Systems Engineer with competence in avionics
mission processing. A prime candidate will have strong analytical
and communication skills and work well in a dynamic,
multi-disciplinary environment.

This Systems Engineer will:
- Apply knowledge and expertise in cross domain solution
technologies to develop integrated solutions for the FARA mission
processor on schedule and budget
- Understand the FARA concept of operations in order to perform
requirements development and design activities for the vmission
processor cross domain solution on the platform
- Collaborate with peers, leadership, and customer stakeholders
across the FARA program to build consensus toward specific
solutions and functions.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires experience with Systems Engineering processes, Model Based
Systems Design (MBSD), mission processing, cross domain solutions,
and interfacing with peer counterparts across a broad
organization.
Occasional travel may be required.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity of rotary wing mission avionics, sensors, and
armament systems
- Performing trades studies, requirements analysis, development,
derivation, allocation, and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- Model Based System Design, Test Automation, and Agile development
experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
