Principal Associate, Business Continuity/Resiliency - Enterprise Services Risk

As a Principal Associate in Capital One's Enterprise Services Risk Office, you will apply your analytical and delivery skills to our highest profile Risk Management projects. You will partner across ES to develop and support cutting-edge Risk solutions in a manner that supports innovation and protects our customers, shareholders, and associates. You will partner with peers and senior leaders, second and third lines of defense, as well as lines of business to drive organizational change to better manage the Company's risk in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are both welcomed and rewarded.

Enterprise Services Risk professionals are experienced, well-trained, and progressive individuals that operate within a highly collaborative team environment to deliver value-added risk services to our business partners. The Principal Associate candidate will be a highly motivated Risk Management professional with excellent support, analytical, planning, collaboration, and communication skills. You will support all Enterprise Services lines of business in developing and maintaining robust business continuity strategies that meet Capital One's Business Continuity Standard and Policy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, expertise and support for Business Continuity and Resiliency efforts
• Support all areas of Business Continuity to ensure resilient strategies are in place and adequately tested
• Assist with identification, tracking and mitigation of all aspects of Business Continuity/ Resiliency Management including controls, risks and issues
• Work with third party managers to drive annual third party testing results
• Partner with other Line of Business Risk offices, 2 nd Line Risk Management functions and other appropriate stakeholders and partners
• Assist with development, delivery, and support of data analytics regarding ES risk management practices, outcomes and trends
• Provide Audit and Exam management support
• Provide support to Capital One's Crisis Management Program Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of risk management, technical compliance, legal, regulatory, or operations experience
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of Business Continuity experience
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong problem solving and influencing skills The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
      
      New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $131,400 - $150,000 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Risk & Analysis
      
      Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
      
      This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
