Diagnostic Technologist II Job DescriptionLehigh Valley Health Network is a leading healthcare organization that values excellence and innovation. We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technologist II to join our team.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic quality radiologic imaging under the direction of a Physician while maintaining proper radiation protection standards.
• Follow guidelines for radiation safety while imaging gently.
• Deliver high-level patient care and customer service to promote patient satisfaction.
• Perform radiologic exams with designated OR equipment of designated anatomy to physician specifications within the operating room.
• Adhere to necessary safety precautions and sterile techniques.Requirements:
  • Technical School Diploma graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to build comprehensive reports and effectively convey information to others.
  • Knowledge of medical technology and terminology.
  • Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data.
  • Anatomy knowledge.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 180 Days.
  • RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Associate's Degree graduate of Health Science Program.Physical Demands:Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
