Job Description:

Our client, a top international Pharmaceutical/CPG manufacturer, is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a 18-24 mos contract with the potential to extend. The position is in New Brunswick, NJ.

Pay Rate: Depending on experience

Description:

Responsible for managing multiple moderate size projects lasting up to 18-24 months in support of our global Diversity & Inclusion strategy. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

Responsibilities include: submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans. This involves monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

---Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.

---Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters, as needed

---Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.

---Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.

---Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.

---Ensuring project deadlines are met.

---Providing administrative support as needed.

---Undertaking project tasks as required.

---Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

---Independently troubleshoots more complex problems and suggests effective resolutions.

---Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

---Acts as a key resource on other larger projects and serves as a consultant with cross-functional team members (e.g., internal and external).

---Functions independently with limited work direction and escalates as appropriate.

Project Coordinator Requirements:

---Bachelor's Degree in business or related field of study.

---Three years' experience in related field.

---Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.

---Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

---Expertise in project management methodologies, tools and techniques.

---Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

---Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.

---Ability to work on tight deadlines.
