Job Description:
PURPOSE This position is a primary leadership role. In this role
the Sr. Team Lead will be privy to confidential information or be
asked to give input that would be considered confidential in
nature. Failure to comply with all company policies concerning
confidentiality could result in disciplinary actions up to and
including termination. This role requires the employee to ensure
that they can enter the various departments where SIMOS Insourcing
Solutions team members are working, and process all required tools
and instructions specific to the Home Position. In addition, this
role is designed to support, remove obstacles, and set an example
for the SIMOS team members to ensure proper client services are
provided. An individual in this position may be expected to perform
additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the
facility as assigned and/or as necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An
individual must be able to successfully perform the essential
functions of this position.
- Responsible for successfully organizing and executing the daily
workflow plan to ensure hourly associates obtain the daily order
volume and deliver the expected customer service.
- Responsible for ensuring SIMOS/customer workload specifications
are met and accurate metrics of results are maintained.
- Supervises and coordinates staff and operations in a logistics
distribution environment, plans and assigns daily work for assigned
Home Position, ensures thoroughness of employee training, and has
authority for discipline and performance decisions.
- Responsible for coaching leads and employees on production
performance, quality standards and productivity goals in an hourly
environment.
- Oversees daily activities of employees working in various areas
to ensure daily work volume and service level meets production
standards.
- Develops methods for improving operating efficiencies and
implementing procedures/policies to drive production.
- Lead and control activities of up to 35-50 associates in
multiple job functions. Takes precautions to protect warehouse
contents against loss.
- Ensure a strong safety awareness and safety culture.
- Retains and reviews warehouse documents and business
metrics.
- Communicates with SIMOS Sr. Supervisor/Operations Manager on
matters of employee discipline, safety, vacations, attendance, and
policy related matters.
- Will be responsible for coordinating training to ensure that
all associates are properly trained, and all training is
documented. COMPETENCIES An individual must be proficient in each
of the competencies listed below to successfully perform the
responsibilities of this position.

understand instructions and identifying information written in the
English language. Must be detail oriented.

products, or improper procedures in the facility.

ACTIVITIES The following physical activities are necessary to
perform one or more essential functions of this position.
- Frequently move, lift, carry and place cartons and supplies
weighing up to 70 pounds without assistance.
- Frequently reaches below the knees to access supplies,
including bending, lifting and carrying no more than 70
pounds.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Visually verifies and inspects product and information, often
in small print.
- Walk to and from work area for scheduled breaks and to access
supplies.
