How You'll Make an Impact

The Material Handler is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, as well as shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials. In the role, you would be responsible for:

* Lifting and stacking materials which weigh 50 pounds or more onto pallets for customer
* Safely operating a forklift
* Reading and understanding specific instructions on pick tickets for customer requests, and reviewing and signing shipping documents
* Assisting with general cleaning and organization of the plant or warehouse
* Identifying product and packing for shipment
* Participating in and complying with all safety orientated programs
* Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion

What You'll Need

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of three years warehousing experience
* Experienced at driving a forklift
* Must be quality minded and have a strong attention to detail
* Must have a strong sense of teamwork, a quick work pace and a friendly, outgoing demeanor capable of getting along well with co-workers and managers
* Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. infrequently
* Ability to stand, squat, reach and walk between 8 - 12 hours per shift
* Must have a valid drivers' license
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
