Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing
platforms, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control
Engineer for our Integrated Project Quality department within the
construction sector. This role focuses on ensuring the highest
standards of quality control and assurance across various
construction projects integral to AWS's expansion and
infrastructure growth. The successful candidate will ensure that
all projects meet both internal and external requirements,
including legal compliance and customer expectations. Reporting
directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control
Engineer will play a key role in project planning, implementing
QA/QC programs, and driving continuous improvement in our project
execution. Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC programs in
collaboration with project teams. Conduct analyses and audits of
processes and documentation to ensure compliance with established
standards and regulations. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders
including project managers, contractors, and engineering teams to
align project specifications with quality standards. Identify,
document, and rectify any defects or discrepancies in project
outputs. Manage and report on quality metrics, creating detailed
QA/QC reports. Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to
quality and efficiency. Train and support project teams in relevant
quality assurance procedures and standards. Strong understanding of
quality assurance methodologies and tools Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills Proficiency in statistical and process
improvement tools Ability to manage multiple projects and
responsibilities concurrently under tight deadlines Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental
