Description: Performs all technical and clerical functions in the
histology section according to established operating procedures.
Responsibilities: The technician is responsible to embed,
microtomy, H&E stain, frozen section preparation and process
special stains for tissue sections. Requirements: Education
Associates Degree: Medical Lab Technology, Histology, Science or
related field or Graduate of a Histology Certificate Program
(Required) Experience 1 Year experience as a Histotechnician
(Required) License/Certifications ASCP - Amer Soc Clinical
Pathology (Preferred) MOHS (Micrographic Surgery) experience -
Required. ```
