At B. Braun Medical Inc., a leader in infusion therapy and pain management, we offer a career opportunity in our Quality Assurance & Testing department for a QC Inspector II. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of quality, ensuring that our medical products and services adhere to regulatory requirements and meet both national and international standards. The QC Inspector II will be instrumental in inspecting, testing, and documenting the quality of our products, contributing significantly to the safety and efficacy that B. Braun is known for in the healthcare industry. Perform detailed inspections of final products, components, and materials to ensure compliance with specifications. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste; input data into quality database. Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions; call for repairs; maintain equipment calibrations. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to production supervisor. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information. Engage in continuous training on existing and new regulatory standards. In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and inspection techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and standards. Proficient in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance 401k Certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), such as Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), is preferred. Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards pertinent to medical devices.
