Job Description Job Description About us Treatment Access and
Services Center is a nonprofit drug and alcohol organization
located in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania. For over 30 years, our
mission has been to help individuals attain treatment and recovery
from addiction as an alternative to incarceration. Our Certified
Recovery Specialists help individuals overcome the barriers
commonly found in the early stages of addiction recovery. We are
currently seeking a team of Certified Recovery Specialists to
support Treatment Court participants living at the Specialty Court
Recovery Housing program at the YMCA in downtown Reading. The ideal
candidates have prior experience working with persons with
substance use disorders and know how to help individuals create and
follow recovery plans. We need help on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
on weekends and holidays. Pay differential included! YOU MUST BE A
PERSON IN RECOVERY FROM A SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR
THIS POSITION. Preferred candidates have attained the CRS
certification. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20 - $24 per hour Expected
hours: 16 per week Benefits: Employee assistance program Schedule:
8-hour shift Day shift Evening shift Overnight shift Weekends only

Provides peer-to-peer recovery support services of the Specialty
Court Recovery House Program. Meets regularly with the Specialty
Court Recovery House program director and intensive case managers
to ensure continuity of care and program compliance with each
resident. May collect random urine specimens, conduct room
searches, provide access to medications, and facilitate group
educational sessions at the Specialty Court Recovery House as
needed. Maintains strict adherence to confidentiality requirements
and ethical standards during interactions with clients, family
members, referral sources, etc. Qualifications: YOU MUST BE A
PERSON IN RECOVERY FROM A SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR
THIS POSITION. Preferred candidates have attained the CRS
certification. About Company The Awaken Mental Health Case
Management program (*A Division of TASC) provides support to adults
with severe mental illness throughout Berks County. The program
supports individuals with mental illness to attain access to
medical, social, educational, and other services to promote a
healthier and more stable lifestyle-encouraging a more independent
living lifestyle. Awaken provides mental health case management as
approved and overseen by OMHSAS/Community Care Behavioral Health
(CCBH) standards. Medicaid/Community Care Behavioral Health
Approved. Through the Awaken Mental Health Case Management program,
TASC, as an intervention agency, continues to grow and reach an
increasing number of individuals in need. Together, through its
many drug and alcohol service units, the 60 employees working at
TASC help thousands of individuals overcome the devastating effects
of mental illness and substance abuse each year.
