available for a Social Worker specializing in school settings to
support elementary students in grades K-4 with emotional needs.
This full-time, onsite position is located in Scranton, PA,
focusing on providing emotional support within an elementary school
environment from ASAP through June 9, 2026, with a possibility of
extension. This role involves working directly with young students
to help them navigate emotional challenges and promote their
well-being. Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual and group
emotional support to students in grades K-4. - Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and school staff to develop support plans. -
Assess student needs and implement appropriate interventions. -
Maintain accurate documentation and case notes. - Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings. - Advocate for students social and
emotional health within the school community. Qualifications and
Experience: - Licensed Social Worker with experience in school
social work. - Strong knowledge of child development and emotional
support strategies. - Ability to work effectively with
elementary-aged children. - Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. - Experience in conducting assessments and
implementing interventions. - Ability to collaborate with educators
and families. Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania (onsite) This role
