Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in delivering exceptional rehabilitation therapy services at healthcare facilities. Our specialized approach focuses on physical, occupational, and speech therapies, tailoring each program to meet the individual needs of our patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work collaboratively with physical therapists to implement therapeutic plans that restore, enhance, and maintain our patients' optimal physical functioning. Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans. Perform therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising physical therapist, including exercises and manual therapy techniques. Document patient progress and any changes in condition, communicating these effectively to the physical therapist. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and ongoing home exercises. Maintain treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients. Participate in patient assessments and contribute to the team’s understanding of patient needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients as needed. Proficiency in implementing therapeutic plans and using therapy equipment. Strong observation skills to accurately assess patient conditions and effectiveness of treatments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice. CPR certification is preferred.
