4x10 hour day shifts (0700-1700, 0700-1900, 0800-1800, 0800-2000) -
Average Hours per Week: 40 - Call Requirement: 12 hours/week (must
be able to arrive at hospital within 20 minutes; overnight rooms
available) - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2260 - $2420
Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in New York State or compact state - Minimum 1 year of
recent Operating Room RN experience - BLS certification (Basic Life
Support) - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to
meet on-call requirements within 20 minutes Operating Room Nurse
Responsibilities - Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare
team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans - Assess patient physical condition, review medical history,
vital signs, and diagnostic studies - Provide pre-operative and
post-operative education to patients and families - Follow
Universal Protocol and adhere to infection control and patient
safety policies - Monitor and document patient responses to
surgical interventions, alerting surgeons or anesthesiologists as
needed - Develop proficiency in both scrub and circulating nurse
duties, gaining exposure to a variety of surgical cases -
